PREAMBLE
Given the ever-increasing number of destitute children in our towns and villages because of not only social evils, considering that every child has the right to enjoy freely, right to affection, to health, to education, to nutrition.
Given the very small number of care facilities for children with no known relatives or no-one to care for them, most of whom are abandoned from birth in the maternity ward or around the streets.
Convinced that something can be done to strengthen the social map of the full care structures for orphans;
The association GJOW USA – TOGO, in application of the provisions of article 2, paragraph 1 of its statutes, which states “To strengthen the capacities of orphans and vulnerable children and widows by dressing them.
Title 1: General Provisions
Article 1: Creation
The GJOW USA – TOGO Association began with a vision received from the Lord on December 12, 2017.
It was born in the USA on December 20, 2017. Our first mission is to recover the oppressed children, the orphans on the streets, the inhabitants, feed them and see them assist on the educational level. Also assist the widows
Article 2: Name
“GJOW” was born in the USA and has the following meaning: “Give Justice to the Orphans and Widows”

Article 3: Purpose
It is an apolitical, non-profit, secular and purely humanitarian institution.
It aims to fight for children and widows who are oppressed, helpless.
It is also about struggling to find families who can adopt these children who do not have families to live healthy, happy and possible lives.
The institution is to rescue orphans on the street and put them an orphanage or find adoption family for them, because our goal is to give these children justice as the Bible says. And assist the widows as well..
Article 4: Admission
The age of children to be admitted to follow-up must be between 0 and 12 years old.
The record of each child must include
– 1 full photo
– 1 photo 4 x 4
– Excerpt from birth;
– 1 report of abandonment if necessary;
– 1 report of the Social Affairs Department with territorial jurisdiction;
– 1 medical certificate;
– 1 certificate of schooling
Article 5: Headquarters
The headquarters of GJOW USA is located in USA at 6221 Shingle Creek Pkwy MN 55430 Brooklyn Center. It can be transferred to another place by decision of the General Assembly of the Association.
Article 6: Duration
Its duration is unlimited
Title II: Organization and operation
Article 7: Admission
GJOW is an initiative of the Association and is administered by two bodies:
A management committee
A direction
Article 8: A management committee
A management committee is the official body of GJOW.
It consists of 04 members who are members of the association. The president of the association is ex officio a member of this committee. The other 03 members are elected to the general assembly to sit on the committee. The committee has a mandate of 3 years renewable.
Article 9: Committee session
The committee meets at least once a year under the chairmanship of the president of the association. He sits in the presence of at least two-thirds of the members.
Decisions are taken by a majority of the members present. In the event of a tie, the President has the casting vote.
The director does not take part in the vote. He reports the items on the agenda. And the other staff members.
During the sessions, the committee can call upon resource persons such as:
– The local head of the Ministry of Social Affairs;
-The prosecutor;
– The head of the health service;
– One or more benefactors;
They have an advisory voice on matters affecting their areas of expertise.
Article 10: Management
She is a team responsible for implementing the objectives of the association. She understands:
-The director;
– The accountant – storekeeper;
-Treasurer.
Article 11: The representative
Recruited by the management committee, he assures the responsibility of the institution in all acts of civil life. He is the representative of GJOW TOGO. He manages the staff under his responsibility.
Article 12: Financial Administration
He ensures the proper management of the financial and material resources of the GJOW USA-TOGO orphanage.
He keeps up-to-date accounting documents, manages supplies and stocks.
Article 13: Secretary and treasury
He ensures the scrupulous respect of the time and takes care of the follow-up teaching, normal, school.
It organizes fun activities and sports, trips and stays of children during periods of school break.
Article 14: Support Staff
This includes:
– the clothes sorters;
– Assemblers in donation bags.
Title: III: RESOURCES
Article 15: Origin
GJOW’s resources come from donations of clothes and accessories by donors.
– Donations and legacies authorized;
– Grant of churches
Donations and grants received by or on behalf of children are given to the representative against receipts
Article 16: Deposit of funds
Operating funds are deposited in an open bank account in the name of the work.
The signatories are the Director and the storekeeper accountant
Article 17: Use
All the resources of the work are used only for the care of the children, the equipment’s and the improvement of the conditions of the personnel
TITLE IV: Final Provisions
Article 18: Modification
The present statutes can be modified only by the General Assembly of the association GJOW USA – TOGO on proposal of the Management Committee.
Article 19: Dissolution
This can be pronounced only by the General Assembly of the association, on the proposal of the management committee or by the administration.
Article 20: Devolution of property
In case of dissolution of the property of the association to which belong to the Association will be used for another project initiated by the association; where applicable, the movable property vested in a structure of the department of lome-TOGO pursuing the same aims, the liquidated real estate and the products distributed to other charities
Article 21: Rules of Procedure
An internal regulation specifies the methods of application of the present statutes.
